Flexible Joints in Gulbransen Player Action
By Howard Wyman

Dick Merchant asks about the flexible material used in Gulbransen
stacks with push rods. In the Gulbransen that I rebuilt a few years
ago, the flexible joints appeared to be buckskin. This is available
in strips and is sometimes used in hammer butt checks.
