Introduction
By Tim Mattice

Hi: I'm a new subscriber to MMD and would like to introduce myself.

I am Tim Mattice, and live in Vacaville, California. Restoration of
pianos and player pianos has been a hobby since 1972. I am by no means
an expert, except in the area of asking questions. I'm self-taught
with a handful of books and a lot of trial and error.

My current project is a 1914 Chickering upright. It has been in the
family since 1949, receiving a playerectomy in 1956. My hopes are
to restore it to original.

This is a _great_ web site with a lot of expertise and I look forward
to future correspondence.
