Unfortunately, such a package must arbitrarily have affixed to it
a Customs Declaration Form with my signature on it. I could perhaps
declare the package to contain "piano parts", and hope it does not
get intercepted. This is a bit of a crap shoot, for if it does get
intercepted, the game is over, for good.

What I was hopeful of seeing emerge from my posting was something akin
to Mark Kinsler's response couple days ago. Does anybody know of
somebody in the US Congress who would logically be interested in this
situation, either

 - from the viewpoint of bringing CITES administration into alignment
with the rest of the world, or

 - from the viewpoint of removing impediments to the return of USA's
musical heritage.

Regards,

Terry Smythe
