"His Eye is On The Sparrow"
By George Bogatko

About three or four years ago, I wrote a piece for a trio for which
my wife plays clarinet. It's an arrangement of "His Eye is On the
Sparrow" that was supposed to evoke the sound of a New Orleans trio,
but playable by straight classically trained musicians. It took four
performances to get it right. I've posted a RealAudio file of that
performance at Inlux.

I just thought some of you would like to hear something that was not
composed for mechanical instruments. Go to the main page and look
for the "new" pointer at the top of the left-hand bar.
