FS: MIDI-Controlled Aeolian Pipe Organ
By Pete Knobloch

I have a friend, Jud, who has a magnificent Aeolian organ for sale.
He doesn't have e-mail so any correspondence can be sent to me.

The organ has 7 ranks of pipes. It was originally a player organ but
the spool box and console could not be found when he bought it. He does
have the original relay box that connected the organ and player console
which isn't being used right now.

Jud found an Aeolian non-player console to replace the one that was
lost. He installed a MIDI interface controller in it which controls the
electric driver boards located inside the organ chamber. A simple MIDI
player\recorder is used to store any music.

It is a compact organ and is currently installed in a 8 X 10 foot
chamber with a 8-foot ceiling. The blower has a 2 horsepower motor and
the pipes use 5 inches of wind. The organ was voiced softly for the
house but can be made to play much louder if needed.

The organ is located in the Phoenix AZ area, and he is asking $20,000
with offers graciously accepted. He is going to advertise this organ in
AMICA and one of the organ clubs. If any one is interested, I can get
pictures of it. His restoration of this organ is excellent.
