88-Note Music Rolls for Pipe Organ
By Ron Bopp

In Wednesday's MMD Bruce Clark mentioned that player piano rolls
played on the organ were horrible. Many years ago Mike Walters of
North Tonawanda, NY produced an 88-note organ roll that had the long
perforations. At the time I was the care-giver for a Seeburg HO
mortuary organ which used 88-note rolls. The rolls that Mike produced
sounded just great on this organ. I think any roll that has longer
perforations would be better for this use.
