QRS Pianomation Plays Theater Organ
By Jim Crank

This ongoing conversation about solenoid piano actions and the current
consumption is very interesting. I bought a QRS Pianomation player
system from a friend of mine who couldn't use it and, not having a
piano in the house, I hooked the MIDI output to my Allen R-311 theater
organ with two added Expanders. The Pianomation plays the Allen organs
piano.

The interesting thing is that I can add other stops to the basic piano
sound and create some nice music with full expression. I am curious if
anyone else tried the same thing.
