Some of the most interesting postings at the MMD have been historical
reminiscences of old-timers who were associated with defunct companies
in their heyday.  I also welcome the occasional query or information
from non-subscribers.  Who knows how many "lurkers" there are out there
who will one day contribute something of interest.

This is a wonderfully all-inclusive forum.  I am more than willing to
pay for it (and have done so), but I would hate to see the reach and
scope of the MMD reduced by imposition of a mandatory subscription fee.
Keep it as it is!  That is, so long as Jody is willing to continue the
splendid job he has been doing.  You _are_ appreciated!
