Source for Leather Drive Belting
By Richard Vance

Answering Mr. McClure's inquiry about sources for leather belting;
McMaster-Carr Supply Co. carries many kinds of leather belting stock,
and the splicers required to join it into belts.

They stock flat belting in several thicknesses, from 1/2" wide upwards
by quarters, on page 891. On page 889 is round leather belting in
1/8", 3/16", 1/4" and 9/32" diameters, and oval belting in 5/16", 3/8"
and 1/2" widths.

Click on http://www.mcmaster.com/ and enter/ "leather belting" in the
search engine. I have found McMaster's on-line purchasing system to
be very fast and accurate, one of the best e-merchants to deal with.
