Wurlitzer 10-Tune A.P.P. Roll Recutting Project
By Don Teach

I put out a plea for a response concerning A.P.P. 10 tune rolls and
Cremona M rolls. No response on M rolls so that is down the tubes.
The A.P.P. response was better.

Here's how our roll projects work. We do these projects on a
no-profit for us basis. We arrange to have the rolls cut, boxed,
and labeled. They are done usually in lots of 25 rolls or 100, or
whatever the Malones require.

All rolls are pre-sold before the project begins. We are doing twenty
sets of 100 rolls now of five tune A.P.P. rolls which are all sold.

I thought now would be a good time to put together a 10-tune roll
recutting project if enough people were interested. I had hoped for
a small 10-roll project which would allow for us to tag on to the
current five tune project while the Malones have the Wurlitzer A.P.P.
dies in the perforator. If anyone wants these rolls in the future
they will have to buy a very large amount of rolls. Unfortunately
very few people opted for this project.

I would like to do this 10-roll project but I need rolls to copy and
people that understand this is a not-for-profit venture, and they
would have to take the full set of ten rolls. Since rolls in the
A.P.P. format are difficult to find it should have been easy to sell
20 sets of ten rolls at an estimated 40.00 per roll which is far less
than the $75 a roll one dealer charges. I would also need rolls to
copy, of which I have none. If you are interested in taking a full
set of 10 rolls then contact me.
