Water Soluble Glue Removal
By Patty Slayton

Tony Caught mentioned that he had a ruined stack due to white glue
having been used which got into the porous material. There is a new
product that removes water soluble glues such as white and yellow wood
glues. It truly works without leaving residue, affecting the finish or
dampening the wood too much. It is carried by Van Dyke's restorers
catalog. De-Glue Goo (product # S7267) is made by Kale Corp., 962
Linden Avenue, Buena Vista, VA 24416. It is advertised as safe and
non-toxic.
