FS: America On Parade / Sadie Mae Video
By Tom Grace

Hi Gang-

Well this is a little off topic but some of you might be interested so
here goes. In 1976 Disney produced a Parade called America on Parade a
salute for the Bicentennial, the music was "The Great American Band
Organ" which in this case was The Sadie Mae then owned by Paul Eakins
at Gay 90's Village.

A Friend of mine who was involved with Disney at the time has produced
an awesome time capsule of this parade from his pro footage he had
archived. It starts out with the Sadie Mae recording session at
Opryland, to bad this part is only 7 or 8 minutes but you get to see
beautiful pro video of Sadie and of Paul Eakins operating the organ!

The next Part is Emperor Hirohitos official visit to Disneyland and a
command performance of the entire Parade. You get to see this! This was
the TV satellite link feed. The third part is the Red Skelton TV
special, with some great vintage Disney from 1976. All of this is
pro... no home camcorder stuff. Most of you may not be interested in
the Disney stuff, but for me it was worth the Money to see and hear
The Sadie Mae and to see Paul Eakins.

For those that are interested in a copy of this VHS tape... not a copy
but 1st generation original, they are $39 plus shipping . You may
email me directly.

That's it for now,
Thomas Grace
