Broken Action Rail in Winter Studio Piano
By Lamar Boulet

The main action rail of a Pratt Reed Piano Action, in a Winter Studio
Piano, has come apart. The rail is made up of three pieces of maple
glued together. The glue joint failed. This is my first time to come
across this problem. What are the options? A new rail? Glue the old
rail back together? Ask Pratt Reed for a new one? Junk the Piano?

The action uses plastic flanges except for the jacks. Need your input.
Thanks.
