Mascotte Organette
By Harold Draper

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

I have recently acquired nine rolls and the rewind crank for a Mascotte
organette. Seven rolls are in excellent shape, with numbers and titles
legible and marked "Made In Germany". Two are missing the leader so
the title and number is gone.

I have not been able to find out much information on this organette
other than what's available in the Bowers' Encyclopedia and the
Guidebook of Automatic Musical Instruments. I did find a source that
manufactures replacement rolls for the instrument, but would still like
a little more history and info on the organette. Any help would be
appreciated.

Thanks
Harold Draper
