Music Roll Perforating Firms
By Don Teach

I think people would be surprised how many firms actually cut rolls.
The best known are Q.R.S. and Play-Rite.

Keystone Music Rolls in Pennsylvania, which is sporadic, cuts Ampico,
Duo-Art, and others. Don Rand cuts 6-to-the-inch nickelodeon rolls.
Mike Grant cuts Wurlitzer rolls, Carl Lambie cuts nickelodeon rolls
and some organ rolls.

Ed Gaida cuts organ rolls for the John Smith organ, Ed Openshaw cuts
small organ rolls, Richard Tonnesen cuts rolls for 9-to-the-inch on
a custom basis. Precision Music Rolls, Dave Saul, makes rolls for
reproducing pianos.

I think this covers the people in the U.S.A. that actually punch the
holes in the paper.
