Unknown Musical Box is a Symphonion
By Craig Smith

[ Ref. 030512 MMDigest]

Hi, You are correct to suggest that this is a Symphonion disc music
box. It has many distinct features of this maker. Someone has either
removed the coin mechanism or perhaps they have used a coin-op case and
installed a non-coin-op mechanism. Looks like it is in very nice shape
too.

By the way, I think that punched hole is original, as these instruments
are usually center drive.
