New 31-note Organ Rolls by Wayne Holton
By Tom Griffith

Wayne Holton has a truly unique talent for arranging music for
mechanical organs and these rolls are a good example of that talent.

For example, he often carries the melody in the accompaniment section
of the pipe structure; and, even the bass section from time to time,
a characteristic not found in European arrangements. Most of us have
a variety of versions of "Beer Barrel Polka" but Wayne's arrangement
surpasses them all. His marches have a truly American color to them.

These rolls are truly worth the money, particularly in view of the
declining dollar; and, I know for a fact the quantity available for
purchase is extremely limited.
