Band Organs at Great Circus Parade, Milwaukee, WI
By Ron Bopp

Alternative to Marietta

The Mid-Am organ rally at Marietta will be a great event for organ
enthusiasts and everyone should try and make this rally. Sylvi and
Jim Caporale have put 110% into this rally and it is a great town with
a great sense of patriotism.

For those who cannot attend the rally, for whatever reason however,
there is an alternative in the northern part of the country. The
Great Circus Parade celebration will be held again in Veterans Park on
the shore of Lake Michigan in downtown Milwaukee. Beginning Wednesday
of this week (noon), and running through Saturday evening, the circus
grounds will feature 5-6 organs, four of them German and one Belgium,
providing music for the huge crowds. The circus grounds are free to
roam around and the crowds are huge and interesting.

If you enjoy outdoor mechanical music consider joining the COAA and
get four issues of the "Carousel Organ" per year plus information on
the numerous organ rallies held each year.
