Ampico B Tears Rolls On Rewind
By Ben McCall

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I have not used my Ampico B player piano for several years. When
using it recently I find that I am badly tearing the right hand side
on rewind of old brittle rolls. In checking the left hand flange,
I see that there is a small spacer on some rolls that slight lengthen
the roll tube. Is there any way to move the right hand flange slightly
to the right and hopefully solve this problem? Or is there any other
solution?

I checked in the MMD Archives and found no recent discussion of this
problem and most of the discussions were about the left hand side and
not any specifically about the right. Thanks!
