Seek Dates of Musical Box Tunes
By Phil Procter

I have just bought a four-air musical box and need some help in
finding out the composers and dates when the tunes were composed
please. They are:-

1) Some Day, by "Lamothe"
2) Sweet Violets, by unknown.
3) New Paris, by unknown.
4) Erminie, by "Jakobowski"

I am trying to identify the box and this will help with its earliest
date of manufacture.

Thanks
Phil Procter

[ The piece by Jakobowski is probably "Lullaby" from the comic opera
[ "Erminie" that opened in London in October 1885. A MIDI file is at
