Recutting Style "O", "M" and "NOS" Rolls
By Don Teach

Well, folks, here I go again. A couple of years back I was able to
convince enough people that Wurlitzer 5-tune APP rolls should be recut.
We had a total of 2600 rolls produced with boxes and labels. I am now
finally sold out of the Wurlitzer APP rolls and do not plan to recut
them ever again. My thanks to those of you that bought into that
project and donated rolls to have copied.

The Wurlitzer Roll project was costly for all involved. The past
couple of weeks I have been selling "O" rolls on eBay. My goal was to
prove to the owner of the perforator that there is still a demand for
"O" rolls. It took me two years. I am now allowed to issue one new
"O" roll or "M" roll or "NOS" type so long as I can sell 18 copies.
Each run of these rolls will be 18 copies.

So my question to the MMD community is what roll would you like to
have? In other words, for what roll(s) are you willing to part with
50.00 USD in cash, green-back USA money?

I am thinking the first roll I offer will be a recut of a great blues
roll. The O-roll version of A-1773 starting off with the "Yes, We Have
No Bananas Blues." I have the original O-roll and am willing to have
it copied. Now, are there 18 of you that would buy a copy of this
roll?

Then I hope to recut more rolls. Maybe someday I will have Wurlitzer
Pianino rolls recut.
