FS: 20er Crank Organ Made by Hellerman-Carmel
By Yiftah Hellerman-Carmel

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

For sale: paper roll playing crank-organ made by HC (Hellerman-Carmel)
of Germany. It has 20 notes and 31 pipes, in F, 20 notes Gedackt 4',
11 notes Oktave 4', 3 basses, 7 accompaniment, 11 melody.

The organ is built almost exclusively of hardwoods (only the paper roll
case is made of plywood); the case is of maple with high gloss
waterborne finish. The front pipes are made of walnut and oak, and all
other pipes of oak. The organ has a soft sound and can be played both
indoors and outdoors. Dimensions are (width, depth, height) 59 x 37 x
42 cm = 23 x 14.5 x 16.5 inches. Weight is about 20-22 kilograms
(about 45-48 pounds). A cart is not included.

The organ plays 20-note music rolls of Raffin or Jaeger and Brommer
format. The roll box is open to atmosphere (Abwind-System). I have
no music rolls to provide but I can give a list of suppliers of music
rolls in Europe, from whom one can buy directly.

The organ is new, built in 2004. It will be shipped from Endingen,
a small town near Freiburg im Breisgau; the shipping costs will be
divided between the buyer and me!

Thank you
