Estey Organ Museum, Brattleboro, Vermont
By D. L. Bullock

I get these announcements from the Estey Organ Museum. Though the
museum displays mainly organs, they have all the papers and equipment
from the days that Estey built pianos, player pianos, player organs,
and Welte grands and uprights. If you are near Brattleboro, Vermont,
you should mark your calendar for these events.

Estey Day 2004 Program Announced

Estey Organ Museum in Brattleboro has announced plans for its third
annual Estey Day pipe organ program to be held on Sunday, September
19th, 2004.

Estey Day celebrates the birth of company founder, Jacob Estey, in
Hinsdale, NH, on September 30, 1814. Leader of the tour again this year
will be Edgar A. Boadway of Claremont, NH, a leading authority on Estey
organs and active with the American Guild of Organists.

The pipe organ tour this year starts at the former First Baptist Church
in Bernardston, MA, where the congregation has recently disbanded and
their building is being sold. [snip]
