List Members:  Warren Trachtman and I are planning to assemble
a compact disc of the ragtime piano rolls of Charley Straight.
I have a number of the rolls but need the following to complete
this assignment:

Mow 'Em Down,
Itsit
Fastep
The Blue Grass Rag
Red Raven Rag
Let's Go and Humpty Dumpty.

I have sent a letter to QRS asking for permission to do this recording.
If you are willing to let us borrow either your originals or recuts
contact me at <tarheeltickler@adelphia.net> or Warren Trachtman
at <Ragtime@nvrs.org>.

Your rolls will be scanned by Warren within a 2-3 week period and
quickly and carefully returned to you and you will be given credit in
the liner notes for letting us borrow them.  Warren will play the files
using his sound fonts and then will "burn" the CDs.

The Folkways LP assembled by Dave Jasen several years ago is no longer
available.  This would be an excellent way of adding to an article I am
preparing for the "Lake Superior Ragtimer."
