Aeolian 116-note Residence Organ Tracker Bar
By Terry Smythe

I'm currently involved in a project to scan a large number of 58-note
Aeolian Orchestrelle rolls from late 1800's. The donor has kindly
committed to making the scan files freely available, which is why I
agreed to do it. I'll let all know when they are available.

Within these rolls, I've encountered a roll I've not seen before.
It is a 116-note Aeolian organ roll, very tiny holes, very close
together, same width and spool ends as regular 58-note rolls.

We sense that the tracker bar for these rolls may be 2-tier, staggered.
We would be most grateful for a pencil rubbing of this tracker bar,
then scanned alongside a ruler. Someone with such an instrument and
inclined to lend a helping hand would be very much appreciated.

As an option, a simple pencil rubbing in the mail will be equally
appreciated.

Regards,

Terry Smythe

[ the purpose of extra "hole 0", nor can I find an explanation
[ of the drawing notes. -- Robbie
