Regulating the Player Strikers
By Jeff Bridges

Hi everyone. I have a Hardman Duo player piano and need to adjust
the small screws for the part that gets hit by the player mechanism.
Forgive me for my non-descriptive way of describing this. The parts
consist of a small screw with a flat edge to it and then at the bottom
of this screw is a small dowel with felt on it.

Does anyone know of a tool that can adjust these screws? I am at a
loss. If need be, I can send a picture to better explain my dilemma.
The player mechanism is coming up way too short of hitting the felt,
so the action is not playing correctly, and it is sounding soft when
it plays, or I get dead notes. Hope someone can help.

Sincerely, Jeff Bridges
