Seek Dick Carty, Carty Piano Co.
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, I have been asked a couple of times if I knew how to
contact Dick Carty of Carty Piano. Dick's company rebuilt my first
two pneumatic instruments, a Gulbransen 88-note and Franklin Ampico.

When I first met him his shop was in Inglewood, California. He built
a new shop overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Manhattan Beach, California.
He then moved back inland where when I last saw him they were working on
a Seeburg H. I believe I was told he retired to the Central Coast or
Central Valley of California but I don't recall ever being told where.
I would appreciate a contact address if anyone knows it.

Thanks,
Jack M. Conway, Los Angeles, California, USA
