Seek Music Rolls for Carillon in Mexico City
By Javier Lopez, ICCO

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Gentlemen: We, here in Mexico City, still have working one old
Schulmerich carrillón system. Our request is because we are looking
for melodies in roll paper for that equipment.

The Schulmerich system was made in 1955, installed in 1956. We keep
it under preventative maintenance services each three months.

In the downtown of Mexico City this equipment signals each 1/4 hour;
it starts at the 08:00 hours and ends at the 20:00 hours daily. At
the 18:00 hours it plays two melodies with the roll paper player,
of duration 5-10 minutes depending of the length of the melodies.

At this time we need to replace the old paper rolls with new rolls,
keeping the melodies. We want to know if you have some in stock or
under requesting order purchase. Let us know the price and delivery
time too, because Schulmerich do not have in stock the roll paper
melodies.

Very truly yours,
Ing. R. Javier Lopez Gonzalez - Gerencia comercial
