Over the weekend we received the bad news of Dave Ramey's passing.
As one of his good friends, B. Bronson said in his message, Dave
was an excellent restorer and the reason for countless mechanical
musical instruments existing and playing today -- first hand and
through the many restorers who worked under him at one time or another.

He never took himself too seriously and always gave freely of any
information he had, including hard earned restoration experience.
His camaraderie and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
