Fraudulent Player Piano Buyer
By Kim Bunker

Hi all, Mr. Kim Bunker here. Sorry to tell this sad story, but
I think everyone should be made aware of a situation I encountered
six weeks ago.

I have a 1925 Chickering 5' 8" Ampico grand piano, Vernis Martin
hand-painted in oriental motif, 100% restored, on consignment. Also
a Wm. Knabe Model "B" Ampico Louis XVII, scalloped case and bench
built in 1930, burl walnut, unrestored. Both pianos are listed in
my web site for sale.

A man at a company named Timless Journey's of Transfer, Pennsylvania,
called me and made an offer of $60,000, agreeing to transfer funds
into my company account half down payment the following day, so we
would commence the restoration on the Knabe and send the Vernis Martin
Chickering. Fortunately it never got shipped and also we never
received anything -- not one penny! Just lots of broken promises.

Then about two weeks ago I was talking to a friend in Northern Ohio,
as well as another friend of my friend in Ohio, who also was contacted
by the same person, same company, same city and state, also same phone
numbers. This man has done this to three others besides myself. There
really is nothing we can do legally.

I have spoke to my attorney regarding this situation, he said let it go
and just let everyone know by reporting this to all of you so you'll be
on the lookout for this guy! So that none of you will fall into the
same trap that we did. It's a very sad day when someone pulls a prank
like this on anyone.

Thanks for now.
Sincerely yours,
Kim Bunker, broker for http://www.playerpianos.com/
