Self-playing Harpsichord
By Brian Smith

Hi MMDers, As of yet, I have not seen or heard of an automatic
harpsichord. Are there any existing? What would be the best means
of playing the action? Pneumatic or PianoDisc, etc.?

[ I think you should first locate a library of suitable music for the
[ harpsichord (punched paper music roll or MIDI, etc.). Bach and
[ Haydn sound good generally but Liberace is doubtful. My guess is
[ that you'll find a better library as MIDI files, and a solenoid
[ player would be cheaper than adapting a pneumatic player for MIDI.
