Schuco Radio 4012 Wind-Up Musical Novelty
By Dale Dohler

Is there anyone out there who would be willing and able to partially
dissect their working Schuco Radio 4012 car and take a close-up picture
of the brake? I have one with a non-functional brake.

The key-wind toy car falls into the category of a musical novelty, with
a wind-up spring motor and a "Radio" which is a small Thorens movement.
I had to replace the mainspring for the music box movement, and the
brake for the windup motor isn't working. I hope someone who owns such
a car would be able to help diagnose the brake problem.

Contact me off-list if you can help.
