Hello MMDers, I'm looking for a certain DOS MIDI file player of
circa 1990 or earlier. It was called calliope.com, I think. What
I particularly liked about this MIDI player was the graphics. While it
would play any MIDI file, it was designed to play merry-go-round music.
The screen (80x24?) was filled with a mosaic of blinking, colored ASCII
characters which looked like a moving merry-go-round. I think that the
last computer I had that program on was stolen in the late 1990's.
Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can get a copy of
calliope.com. Alternatively, where else should I look? I'm running out
of ideas. Archie ain't what it used to be.
With many hopes,
John Harvey
