H. C. Bay Tracker String Length
By Skip Downing

Anybody out there have a measurement for the length of the fishing
pole tracker string on an H.C. Bay mechanism? I find that Gulbransen
was roughly 9.5", but that seems a little generous for this mechanism.
The 'fishing pole' on this unit is mounted to the back of the spoolbox,
and the take-up spindle with the friction wheels is on the outside of
the bass side of the spoolbox. Thanks for whatever help anyone can
offer.
