Single-Finger Music Roll Tracking System
By Mike Morrey

About the piano destroying the Art-o-rolls while rewinding, after
several different e-mails from MMD readers one thing that came up more
than once was the 'brake'. I had forgotten that my piano had a brake
(two, actually!).

After taking the front of my piano apart for easy access I removed and
replaced the felt of the two brakes, and reassembled all. Rewinding
now is much more under control, and during playing the paper is kept
a tad more tighter. While I don't have any more Art-o-rolls to 'test'
with (anyone want to donate one? :) I'm sure that this at least helped,
if not eradicated, the issue.

Thanks!
Mike Morrey
