The Welte T-100 Recording Story
By Jim Crank

That story will be published in the next issue of the AMICA Journal. I
based my story on the Simonton artifacts, which were absolute visual
proof of some of the technology and Welte's editing process. I also
have done a ton of reverse engineering for a long time and had lengthy
conversations and emails with other Welte enthusiasts.

The article is a summation to the best of my thinking. When the
residence roll scanning project is finally up and running with the new
transport, two Yamaha sample key actions will form the basis for making
a one-note version. This will be reported to all.
