Puzzling Stroud Duo-Art on eBay

My Welte upright has a similar motor (original), and if we had a close-
up on the decal of the motor, I think it would be easy to prove that
it's not original.  My guess is that it was replaced by the person that
"restored" the piano.  Replacing the motor that doesn't work and the
roll motor that didn't work seems to be at the same level of
excellence.
