Transcribing a Piano Roll to Sheet Music
By Bob Billings

Transcribing a piano roll to a score is easily done by scanning the
roll and converting the resulting file to MIDI format. Then import
the MIDI file into a program such as Cakewalk, for instance. The notes
may then be printed out as a conventional score. Some editing may be
needed to make a nice clean score, but the notes will all be there.
