Roll-playing Theater Organs
By Randy Petren

Good evening and Happy Holidays to all! You'll have to forgive me, but
I believe this to be true. And if somebody has a copy of Judd Waltons'
book on the Wurlitzer opus lists, I believe this can be looked up.

In Boston, directly across from the Metropolitan theater (Music Hall),
was the Bradford Hotel (which I also believe was the Elks Lodge at
one time). It had a 3-10 Wurlitzer in the ballroom that I played many
times, and I was told by several knowledgeable sources in the early
1970s that it also had a four rank Wurlitzer player organ, without
a console, in the bar.

Hope this helps,
Randy Petren
