Vacuuming the Player Piano Tracker Bar
By Paul Eggert

Is there any risk in vacuuming out a tracker bar, using an electric
home vacuum cleaner or a shop vac, with all piano mechanisms in place,
all connected up, so long as you don't scratch up the bar or blow air
inwards?

I had always assumed that the hand-held pump was an intentionally
feeble apparatus so as not to suck too hard and damage "something", and
was thus afraid to venture further. I am not questioning Bruce Clark's
knowledge base, just mine.
