Building a Reiterating Drum Beater Mechanism
By Bill Clark

I walked through the organ rally at Knoebels Amusement Resort and am
now inspired to add percussion to my organ with MIDI-controlled pipes
and bells. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csI2VcpNnOA

I could buy a new beater mechanism but that's no fun. I can't seem
to find a used one to fix so I'll have to make one. How do I go from
a MIDI snare drum music line that has one output to making two beaters
"roll" on a snare drum? Do I need vacuum? Where can I buy or get
plans to make a beater mechanism? Any help to get started would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill Clark
