Ampico Grand Tempo Problem
By Gary Heckman

My cousin has a 1928 Knabe 5' 7" Ampico grand piano. It will play
if the Tempo lever is set really slow, however, if you increase the
Tempo any higher, the stack suction is cut off and the roll continues
to move and not play the notes. Set the tempo back and it plays the
notes very slow. Would appreciate any information as to the problem.
