Seek Electric Vacuum Pump for Player Piano
By Bob Hunt

School will soon be starting up again, and I am looking for a vacuum
motor for a little 1960's Aeolian foot-pumped spinet that I have in
the classroom for the kids to play and hopefully get interested in
mechanical music. I teach the fourth grade and the kids are still
uninhibited enough to love to pump and sing.

This piano never had an electric pump and is still working on the
original components. Thanks to the good advice of other MMDers, it is
working surprisingly well. If anyone has a used vacuum pump around at
a very reasonable price I'd be appreciative. A gift also makes a good
tax write-off for an unwanted item.

Hopefully,
Bob Hunt, in New Hampshire
