Wurlitzer Band Organ on "Auction Kings" TV Show
By Joe Kemph

Yes, I taped the segment, it was interesting. They showed the back of
the organ more than the front, I guess because "that's where the action
is." This organ had the flywheel mounted on the side right behind the
snare drum, not on the back -- something I have never seen before. It
did have a good sound.

I'm sure the Discovery Channel will run the show again, and again,
and again. It seems all these channels spend money to make a handful
of programs and then run them over and over again.

I bought a small trailer this fall to haul my band organ around next
summer, _if_ the price of fuel ever stops going up and I can line up
some gigs. I had four jobs cancel out on me last summer. We are
paying $3.15 per gallon here in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Happy New Year
Joe Kemph
