History Of My Wurlitzer 125 Band Organ
By Wilbur Herr

I am presently restoring a Wurlitzer 125 I purchased from John Flint.
John and Nan Flint brought this organ to both MBSI and COAA events in
previous years. John bought the organ some years back from the
Sebastian's in Florida.

Stripping the white paint from the case revealed an organ with a rough
life. I am assuming it was used as a carnival instrument. We know
this so far:

a. 1918 stamped on case.
b. On vacuum pump boards: Buffalo Evening News, Nov. 12, 1918
c. On pressure pump boards: Buffalo Evening News, Jan. 4, 1923
d. A.L. Crescio, a well known organ repair man, signed the vacuum
pump and pallet box rebuilding in 1948 for Mike Smith in Worthing,
   South Dakota.

Are there any old-timers out there who can provide the history
between Worthing, South Dakota, Mike Smith and A. L Crescio?
