Bonhams Mechanical Music Auction 19 April 2011
By Laurence Fisher

The first of five mechanical music sales at Bonhams for 2011 starts
at Knightsbridge at 1 p.m. on the 19th April. Some of the highlights
in this 185-lot sale is a very scarce Hupfeld Pan-Orchestrion model O;
the earliest Réymond Nicole to have appeared anywhere (ser. no. 99);
no fewer than seven singing bird boxes, a very early gilt and serves
panel singing bird in cage; an Autophone by the American Phonograph
Company and lots of boxes in-between.

Those requiring a paperback catalogue, please call Helen Grantham on
0044 (0)1666 502 200 and quote 19034. The direct link to take you to
the online catalogue is  http://www.bonhams.com/eur/auction/19034/
Should this not work for connection, please navigate from the main

For those who attend the viewing, you will always meet other members
of various societies including MBSI, MBSGB and the BVWS. Viewing
starts with the reception on Sunday 17th April from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you have any questions, do please contact me directly where I will
be delighted to help. The sale after this will be the 17th May at
Knowle.

See you soon, kind regards to all, and to MMD for continuing to keep us
