Preserving Audio Fidelity in YouTube Video
By Marc Goodman

[ Ref. Alan Turner in 110601 MMDigest ]

Hello. I have listened to Mr. Turner's Duo-Art selections on YouTube.
There seems to be very little expression, especially whisper soft
playing, in the Ravel piece, "The Fountains". In fact, the soft pedal
must be off as the keyboard never goes down.

It is a sad fact that new people, who know music, will scoff at a
player that does not sound like an artist playing. I mean no malice
here; just an observation from a piano lover.

Best,
Marc Goodman
Cleveland, Ohio
