Unknown Ampico Roll Recutter
By Douglas Heckrotte

I have a number of Ampico rolls which are recut by someone who did not
identify himself. Some rolls are combined from more than one original
recording, nearly all are large diameter.

The label borders are a perimeter wide black line, wide red line which
is often not well indexed (out of place), and an inner narrow black
line. The graphics do not reproduce any original label styles. The
labels are used on one box end and on the roll. A green stamp indicates
Tempo. The boxes are plain, roll paper is white. Who recut the rolls?
