Electrified vs. Foot-Pumped Player Piano

Dear MMDers,  I think a few people have missed the plot.  Of course
reproducing pianos have had motors put in them when new.  That's not
the issue.

The issue I was putting forward was about people shoving electric
motors in players (more than often than not vacuum cleaner motors).
My comments had nothing to do with reproducing pianos, nor with MIDI.
Please read carefully -- don't make up stories.
