Restoring a Laterna
By Douglas Gregg

I am currently restoring a laterna purchased about 40 years ago
in Turkey. It had a shattered hitch pin block and other problems.
I have restored and re-engineered the hitch pin block which was
under-engineered originally. It is restored as close as possible
to original appearance and will very shortly be playable again. If
anyone is interested, I can send photos or a PowerPoint presentation
of the restoration. The PowerPoint is a big file.

I am curious as to how many still exist in the world, or in the USA.
